The hills and forests around Hanmer Springs have a network of trails to suit all abilities. The Heritage area south of Jollies Pass Rd contains a network of easy trails where beginners can hone their skills before heading up into the hills north of the road. The grading of trails is probably one grade easier than we are used to in Nelson so the intermediate trails are an easy step up from the Easy trails on the flat.
